These terms cover your use of unboundnomad.com, the guided rides and trip-planning services offered here, and the digital products sold through this site. The MotoPin app is covered by its own MotoPin Terms of Service. They're an agreement between you and The Unbound Nomad LLC, an Ohio limited liability company ("The Unbound Nomad," "I," "me," "we," or "us"). By using the site, booking a service, or buying a product, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use them.

How your information is handled is covered separately in the Privacy Policy and the MotoPin Privacy Policy.

1. Who we are

The Unbound Nomad LLC is based in Ohio, USA. You can reach me at unboundnomad@unboundnomad.com.

2. Using this website

  • You're welcome to read, share links to, and use the information on this site for your own personal, non-commercial riding.
  • Don't misuse the site: no attempts to break or overload it, scrape it in bulk, or use it for anything unlawful.
  • Route descriptions, ride guides, and blog posts are written from personal experience and are for general information. Roads, closures, speed limits, and conditions change. Always check current conditions and ride within the law and your own ability.

3. Guided rides and concierge trip planning

  • Booking. A request through the booking form isn't a confirmed booking. A ride or trip plan is confirmed only when I confirm it to you in writing.
  • Price, payment, and cancellation. The price, any deposit, when payment is due, and the cancellation and refund terms for each ride or trip plan are given to you in writing before you pay. Those written terms are part of this agreement.
  • Participant agreement. Every rider on a guided ride must sign The Unbound Nomad's Participant Agreement, Liability Waiver & Media Release before the ride. If anything in that agreement conflicts with these terms, the signed agreement controls for that ride.
  • Your responsibilities as a rider. You must hold a valid motorcycle license, carry your own motorcycle and health insurance, ride a motorcycle in safe operating condition, and follow all traffic laws. You're responsible for your own riding, pace, and decisions at all times.
  • Weather and safety. I may change a route, delay, or cancel a ride when weather, road conditions, or safety require it.
  • Third-party bookings. Lodging, meals, fuel, attractions, and other services from third parties are provided by those businesses under their own terms, including their deposit and cancellation policies.
  • Trip plans are recommendations. A concierge trip plan is my best research and judgment at the time I make it. I can't guarantee that roads, businesses, prices, or conditions will match the plan on the day you ride.

4. Digital products

  • Downloads such as guides and checklists are sold through Gumroad and paid for there.
  • When you buy a digital product, you get a personal, non-transferable license to use it for your own riding. Please don't resell, share, or republish the files.
  • If a file you bought won't open or isn't what was described, email me and I'll make it right.

5. The MotoPin app

MotoPin has its own MotoPin Terms of Service, which apply to the app and MotoPin Pro instead of this page. Its privacy practices are in the MotoPin Privacy Policy.

6. Content and intellectual property

The text, photos, videos, logos, route guides, and designs on this site and in MotoPin belong to The Unbound Nomad LLC or are used with permission. "The Unbound Nomad," the logo, and "MotoPin" are our brand names. You can share links and short quotes with credit; anything more needs my written permission.

7. Links and other services

This site links to and uses other services, including Jotform, MailerLite, Gumroad, Square, Google Play, Instagram, and Facebook. Those services are run by other companies under their own terms and privacy policies, and I'm not responsible for them.

8. Disclaimers

Motorcycling carries real risk of serious injury or death. The website, information, trip plans, and digital products are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. I don't promise they'll be error-free, uninterrupted, or right for your particular trip.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, The Unbound Nomad LLC and its owner won't be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits, or trips, arising from your use of the site, services, or products. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the service or product the claim is about in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, including for gross negligence or intentional misconduct.

10. Your consumer rights

Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under the consumer protection laws where you live that can't be waived by contract.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state courts in Franklin County, Ohio, or the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring it there.

12. Changes to these terms

I may update these terms from time to time. The new version will be posted here with an updated date. If you keep using the site or services after a change, you accept the updated terms.
